Janken is the game of Rock, Paper, Scissors. Janken is used in Japan to decide things and just as a stand alone game. It is played with the hands. Rock called gu and is made by making a fist. Paper is called pa and made by opening the hand. Scissors is called choki and is made by make scissors with the index and middle fingers. To play the game the players call out "Jankenpon" then make the shapes. Rock beats scissors. Scissors beats paper, and paper beats rock. If the players use the same shape they say "aiko deshou" and do it one more time until a winner is decided.
