When is comes to Japanese clothing perhaps the most famous is the Kimono. The picture that probably comes to your mind is that of a Japanese Geisha. The literal translation of the word means "wearing thing". However Kimonos are much more than that. There are kimonos for women as well as for men. There are different types of Kimono that people wear for different occasions.
